Frequently asked

Common questions

Is it free?

Yes. EverUsTogether is free to download and use, with no ads and no subscription. Recording and viewing your memories will stay free, permanently — that's a promise we made to ourselves from the start.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no account, no login, and no email or phone number required to use the app. During setup we only ask for your first name and your partner's first name, so the app can greet you both by name.

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything you record — moments, notes, check-ins — is stored only on your device. There is no EverUsTogether server, no analytics that transmit relationship events, and no advertising SDK. The one nuance worth knowing: if you have Android's system backup turned on, a copy of the app's data may be saved to your own Google account by Android itself, the same as it would for many other apps. We never send anything to our own servers, because we don't have any. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Does my partner need the app?

No. EverUsTogether is a personal tool — it helps you be more intentional in how you show care. Your partner doesn't install anything, doesn't need to know you're using it, and is never contacted, tracked, or messaged by the app in any way.

Will it work offline?

Yes, completely. EverUsTogether works fully offline — on a plane, in the mountains, anywhere. It never needs an internet connection to record a moment, show your history, or display your insights.

What if I lose my phone or switch devices?

Because your data lives only on your device, switching phones without a backup means starting fresh, the same as with any local-only app. If you'd like a safety net, you can turn on Android's own backup feature in your phone's settings, which will restore EverUsTogether's data (via your Google account) when you set up a new device. We're also considering an optional, user-controlled export/import feature for the future.

Can I use it for a friendship or family relationship instead?

EverUsTogether is designed and written for romantic partners — married couples and long-term partners. It isn't built around family, parenting, or friendship relationships in this release.

When is it launching?

EverUsTogether is currently in development for Android. Join the launch list on the home page and we'll let you know the moment it's available.
