Simple, fair terms
EverUsTogether is a free, independent app made by one developer. These terms are meant to be short and readable, not a wall of legalese.

1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using the EverUsTogether Android app ("the app") or by using everustogether.com ("the site"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app or the site. These terms are provided by rafaelrglima.com, the developer of EverUsTogether.
2. What EverUsTogether is
EverUsTogether is a personal, local-first tool that helps you record and reflect on small acts of care in your relationship. It is a private journal for one person's use — it is not a shared account, not a messaging tool, and not a way to monitor a partner. As described in our Privacy Policy, the app stores your data on your own device and has no server of its own.
3. Who can use it
EverUsTogether is intended for adults capable of forming a binding agreement in their jurisdiction. It is not directed at children, and we ask that you not use it if you are under the age required by the laws where you live.
4. Your content
Everything you record in the app — moment types, notes, dates, names, check-ins — belongs to you. We claim no ownership over it. Because it's stored only on your device, we also have no ability to access, back up, or recover it on your behalf — you are responsible for keeping your own device (and any backup you choose to enable) safe.
5. Acceptable use
Please use the app for its intended purpose: caring for the people in your life. Don't attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app or site in ways that would harm other users or the service, and don't use the "custom moment" or note fields to store or transmit anything unlawful. There is no shared or social surface in the app to misuse toward other people, since nothing you enter is ever transmitted anywhere.
6. Availability and changes
EverUsTogether is currently free, with no ads and no subscription. We intend to keep recording and viewing your memories free permanently, even if optional premium features are introduced later (see the app's About screen for any such changes). We may update, add to, or occasionally discontinue features of the app or site; where practical, we'll aim to give notice for changes that affect your existing data.
7. No warranty
The app and site are provided "as is," to the best of our ability, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work carefully to keep your data intact (including using safe, additive database migrations), but as with any software, we cannot guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we recommend not treating it as your only copy of anything irreplaceable.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, rafaelrglima.com and EverUsTogether will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited in your jurisdiction.
9. Third-party platforms
You'll typically install EverUsTogether through Google Play, which has its own terms governing your relationship with Google as a platform. Those terms apply alongside, not instead of, these ones.
10. Changes to these terms
If we update these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the effective date above and note the change here.
